Review: UTENA MAYU REFRESHING GEL.

To those who have went to watson and should be able see Utena Mayu Moist & Refreshing Gel, Lotion and Washing Powder.

Everytime i go to watson and saw this Utena Product and was like wondering why is there not much people buying that product. So yes i bought it the Utena Mayu Moist & Refreshing Gel which cost at SGD 29.90.



I've been using a week or so to see the difference since it say it helps to regulate sebum production.

So what is Sebum.?

Sebum (skin "oil") is produced by your sebaceous glands and serves to waterproof, protect and moisturize your skin. One of the factors involved in excess sebum production is the presence of testosterone and other and similar hormones.

Simple: Oily Skin is not good either.

Normally a person who have oily skin or combination skin, washes his/her face and will get oily after a hour or two.

So Utena Mayu Refreshing Gel have a Oil free moisturizer which helps to Regulate Sebum Production. Which actually help slower down the process of getting oily skin

I don't really know how to explain but i think this could help out a little.



Utena Mayu Refreshing Gel also says that it helps to minimise pores give matte and smooth feel.

Well truthfully for me it dosen't help minimise my pores and it still look the same after a week of using, Matte and smooth feel? YES IT HAVE SMOOTH AND MATTE FEEL AND I LOVE IT!. But my pores only expand and contract depends on the weather.

HOT - BIG COOL/COLD-SMALL

It also contain Silk proteins & Amino acids which helps to firm and hydrate the skin to keep it moisturized.

They also have Witch Hazel in the products itself which has anti-inflammatory properties helps to smooth and clam the skin.

This gel is like a water base gel not cream base. The thing that i like about water base is because it dries up and instantly absorbed into the skin and dosen't give those compared to cream base.

About why i don't like cream base. Normally i apply cream base stuff at home. The reason why is cream base after apply it gives this kind of oily feel. which i don't really like it. So i never apply when ever i go out.

Like i said before everyone have different skin type, Maybe Utena Mayu helps you minimise your pores not mine. Some have different skincare regime

Oh yeah today i bought this product called Formula 10.0.6 i think quite a lot of people know this brand already. Lets see what can this SGD$9.90 baby can do actually it have different type of mask so i give this a try first.
